Navy League - Cape Canaveral Council

The Navy League of the United States was founded in 1902 with the support of President Theodore Roosevelt. It is a nonprofit civilian, educational and advocacy organization that supports America’s sea services: the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and U.S.-flag Merchant Marine.

For over a century, the Navy League has been a voice for maritime strength, engaging the public and Congress on the vital role these services play in national security, economic prosperity, and global stability. Through membership, we unite those who are committed to supporting the sea services, advocating for a strong maritime defense, and building a community that stands behind those who serve at sea. Naval Ordnance Test Unit - Mission Partners

On Wednesday, 22 July 2026 past Council President Dean Schaaf presented a certificate of recognition, gift card and Council challenge coin to the Naval Ordnance Test Unit (NOTU) Sailor of the Quarter and Junior Sailor of the Quarter at their Mission Partners Ceremony. It is always a pleasure to be a part of the recognition of such superlative performance by our active-duty personnel.

Gathering at Time Out Sports Bar

On Monday, 22 June 2026 several members of the Cape Canaveral Council and members of the Courageous Division of the Sea Cadet Corps were in attendance. We watched a rerun of the USA vs Australia World Cup game that the USA won to send them to the knock out round. Those in attendance enjoyed a terrific time together as the summer is fully upon us.
