CGC Alert returns to Port Canaveral

ALERT returned to Cape Canaveral after 146 days away completing major maintenance at GMD Shipyard in Brookyln, New York. “The crew showed exceptional grit and resilience over the last four and a half months, proving their deep dedication to the Coast Guard and ALERT, said CMDR. Mario G. Gil, Commanding Officer of ALERT. "Even while being away from home, handling a large crew turnover, and executing a major maintenance availability, our crew ensured ALERT is fully prepared to return to the fight stronger than ever and ready to serve the American people for years to come."
