Our Mission
Navy League Cape Canaveral Council is a civilian organization founded in 1902 that supports the four maritime forces, their members, and their families through direct action and education of the public. Our organization aims to raise awareness, recruit members, share educational resources, accept donations, and share events. We provide articles, event listings, and multimedia like videos. We plan to reach our audience through social media, newsletters, and local partnerships. Located in Cape Canaveral, FL, we are committed to making a difference in our community and beyond.
What We Do
Our Mission
Our Council’s Mission is to support America’s sea services: Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and US - flag MerchantMarine in Mideast Florida. We do this through:
• local programs and meetings where our Council provides a voice to educate the public and local members of
Congress on the importance of our Sea Services to our nation’s defense, well-being and economic prosperity
and:
• support to our active Sea services personnel such as the U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard and their families
• youth programs such as the Naval Sea Cadet Corps and Junior ROTC, that expose young people to the values of our sea services.
